Time: This module will take approximately 90 minutes to complete
Tasks: Download and print or save the following documents:
Criteria Defining High Quality, Participation-Based IFSP Outcomes – This resource provides additional information for the activity of deciding if an IFSP Outcome meets the criteria (slide 10.3.2 & 10.3.3)
Early Intervention Service Definitions (slide 10.5.4)
Notes:
This point in the training is a good opportunity to contact an Early Intervention Broker (EIB) supervisor and reflect on the IFSP process and how providers participate throughout the steps of the IFSP in that particular EIB
Slide 10.8.2 mentions that the Coordinated system of payment is administered by CDHS through the Early Intervention Services Trust (EIST). The EIST is still the mechanism that pays for services through the trust, but it is now administered through the Colorado Department of Early Childhood
Additional Learning Opportunity:
Review the Resources section of the EI Provider Training for Module 10
Review the Early Intervention Qualified Personnel Standards
