SET UP USER PROFILE

There are three types of user profiles and security settings:

  1. Manager/Supervisor - Has the ability to read, write, edit and delete any data in the system for their EIB/ CCB

  2. Read Only - Has the ability to read all data in the system and view and run reports

  3. Service Coordinator - Has the ability to read, write, edit any data within Cases and IFSPs that they own

User access is managed by state Early Intervention staff. To request access as a new user, other than Service Coordinator, the following steps should be taken:

Manager/Supervisor and Read Only

  1. Send an email to the Early Intervention Data Specialist, Tracy Sperry at [email protected]. The following information should be included:  

    1. The user’s first and last name, title, email address, and desired profile (Manager/Supervisor or Read Only)

  2. New users will receive an email with their login information as well as a temporary password

  3. User should visit link to the EI Colorado Data System: https://login.salesforce.com/

  4. Enter username and password (The username is the user’s email)

  5. Passwords will expire after 90 days. If users need password reset, please contact EI Data Specialist, Tracy Sperry

Service Coordinator

  1. Refer to Service Coordinator Contact under CONTACTS section for instructions on how to provide information in the data system to initiate a request for setting up this profile  

IMPORTANT TERMINOLOGY

  1. Accounts – “Container” for all related Contacts for the Account

  2. Household Accounts – Holds all Contacts related to the Client being served

  3. CCB Accounts – Holds all Contacts related to the EIB – EIB staff, service coordinators and providers

    Note: "EIST Communications Email" field should be used for email communication specific to the EIST. This field is only editable by the CCB Manager Supervisor.

  4. Contacts – Record for any individual entered in the data system (Client, Client Family member, CCB staff, Service Coordinator, Service Provider, Child Find)

  5. Client– The child being served

  6. Client Case – The record that is specific to the EI program. Holds all relevant information to the EI process    

  7. Utilizations – Container for Activities created to bill for services listed on theIFSP and within a Client Case

  8. Activities – Sessions and Transactions

  9. Service Plan Elements – The direct services listed on an IFSP record
