  1. When a referral is received by Early Intervention Colorado, the following timelines are:

    1. Care Navigator assigned within three (3) business days of receiving the referral

    2. Initial contact within seven (7) business days of Referral Date

    3. Evaluation results entered into Provider Portal EI Screening Record within three (3) days of evaluation

    4. Case Transferred to local EI program or Part C Entity by Care Navigator: Two (2) business days upon receipt of EI Screening Results

    5. Initial IFSP completed within 45 days of initial referral

    6. EI Services to begin within 28 days of Consent Date

    7. Evaluation entities should have slots available 60 days in advance

    8. Evaluation slots in the provider portal may be used up to 48 hours before the appointment is set to begin. Appointments set to begin less than 48 hours from the time of scheduling will not be scheduled by Care Navigators.
