Creating a Report
Purpose: Users can create their own personal reports or Save As an existing report and Edit the filters and columns to capture needed data. When creating reports, users will need to be aware of where information is located throughout the data system to report on the correct information
Click on the Reports tab
If the desired report is not listed, select the New Report button located in the top right corner
On the next screen users can type in a keyword to easily navigate to the section they need to pull information from
Select the report type by clicking directly on it and select Continue
The next screen will show users possible fields to include in the custom report
In the Show Me field under Filters, users can choose to see only their cases in the report, or they can choose to see everyone’s. Keep in mind, when running a report, if a user does not see any results, make sure the Show is in the correct case view
Under Outline, the user will be able to search and find possible fields to pull into the report
Users can do a quick search to identify what they are looking for by typing the work in the Add Group and Add Column fields
Click on the Field options and it will be added to the list and included in the preview. Users can reorganize the order of columns by dragging and dropping items on the left
Click on Filter to choose the appropriate date range
The Preview is only going to show users a glimpse of what the report can look like. Once all desired fields are sorted and entered select Run to run the report
The next screen will show the report in its entirety
Users can save the report to the desired folder (either their personal folder or their CCB folder, DO NOT save it to the Early Intervention CCBs folder). Users can export it into an Excel document and save it directly to their computer
