Closing a Client Case

From the Client Case Details page, click on the edit pencil to the right of Status field
Select the appropriate Closed Status
Closed status of either Closed/Eligible or Closed/Not Enrolled
For definitions of closed status, please review link to Early Intervention Client Case.
Enter a date in the Closed Date
Click Save
Note: Prior to closing a client case, the service coordinator should ensure that all pertinent information has been updated, including Transition information and service start dates, where applicable.
Note: When the user closes an EI Case with a Status of “Closed/Eligible” they will be prompted to enter a Global Outcomes Exit Rating (entered on the most recent IFSP) or indicate a reason why Exit Rating was not completed. Reason Exit Rating Not Completed: picklist options are:
Child or family cannot be located
Deceased
Less than 6 months in Services
No entry rating completed
Moved within State
