Allocations

Purpose: The EI Data System was designed to follow the funding hierarchy. When creating Utilizations, the system will automatically select the funding source based on validations triggered by data entered on the client case or by the Trust program.

When billing for services not allowable on Trust, the data system will default to the funding hierarchy.

Note: For more information about billing the EI Service Trust (EIST) please reference the following link the EIST Process Guide

Activities NOT funded by the EIST are:

  1. EI: Assessment Reentry

  2. EI: Assessment-Initial

  3. EI: No Show

  4. EI: Assistive Technology

  5. EI: Transportation

  6. EI: Assistive Technology Device

  7. EI: Teaming

  8. EI: Co-pay

For each CCB, the following allocations exist:

  1. Direct Service (specific to the fiscal year)

  2. EIST Allocation: There is a trust program allocation created for each child who has a Trust Program

  3. Previous FY Credits and Denials (only available at the beginning of each FY)

  4. AO Temp: This allocation is a “placeholder” allocation used for activities that cannot yet be associated directly to a Trust Program Allocation
