  4. Check the box to confirm that the user is not a robot, and click Submit

  5. In order to access the training, the user will need to wait until their registration is "approved" by EI Colorado. This should happen fairly quickly but it could take up to 3 business days

  6. If the user does not receive notice that their registration has been approved within this time, please contact Rachel Karas at [email protected] or Wayla Murrow [email protected]. Users should receive 2 emails:

    1. The first email says that the user request to register in Cornerstone has been received

    2. When this request is approved, the user will receive a 2nd email with a link for logging into the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS)

      1. The user should check their spam folder in case these emails go to Spam

  7. Training is assigned for a specific amount of time (ex. 45 days). At the end of that time the user’s account may be deactivated so that others may sign up and take training. EI Colorado has a limited number of licenses available so there is a limit to the number of people that can be active users at one time

  8. Click on the link in the registration confirmation email to access the Cornerstone Login page. Use the Email address as the Username and the Password that the user created.

    1. In case this email gets lost or goes to spam, use this link to log in

  9. The first page the user sees when logging in is the Welcome page. The training that the user selected should be assigned to them and will show in their transcript on the day following their registration approval. Click on the My Transcript icon to see the assigned training

  10. The icon that looks like a stack of books is a "curriculum". Find the curriculum, hover over the training title and click on it in order to go to the training curriculumNext the user will see a screen where they can open the training.  Click on Open  Curriculum

  11. Now the user will see the components of the curriculum.  They must complete the modules in order and won’t be able to go to the nest module until they have completed the module that is before it

    1. Click on the Launch button. This will launch the module. The user may need to do this again for each module. Some trainings may automatically launch the next module

      1. The introduction has a tutorial which users can access anytime during the training if they need help navigating through the training

      2. Users should have their speakers or headphones available and their pop-up blockers turned off

      3. If users get a continuous circle that says “loading” this means the pop-up blocker is on. If this happens, turn off the pop-up blocker, refresh the screen or log out and log back in and try again

  12. To return to training at a later time, use this link to get back to the Login page:

    1. Use the UserName (which is the email used when registering) and password to log in. This will go to the Welcome Page

    2. The user can get back to their curriculum in two different ways:

      1. Click on My Transcript

      2. In the “Your Transcript” box click on Open Curriculum

  13. When the user has completed their training, they should print and save the Certificate of Completion for their personal records.  Users will not be able to print their certificate when the account has been deactivated.  Contact Rachel Karas at [email protected] or Wayla Murrow [email protected] for a copy of the certificate if unable to print

    1. When the user has completed the training, click on the Options box for a dropdown menu. This will bring users to a page with the training details. On this page is a place where the certificate can be printed

      1. If users go into Cornerstone later to print their certificate they will need to change the drop down that says "active" to "completed"

    2. Follow instructions for the employer or EIB to upload and save the certificate
