DATA SYSTEM RELEASE

We will be implementing updates to the EI Data System
3/17/2024 from 8:00 am until 3/17/2024 pm at 1:00 pm
USERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE OUT OF THE EI DATA SYSTEM
Users can log into the system after 1:00 pm on 3/17/2024

Primary Spoken Language Addition | No. Italian has been added to the language pick-list |
EI Referral Case Duplicate Phone Number Removed | No. Phone number field in Evaluation & Scheduling section has been removed |
Eligibility Logic 25%-32% in one area | No. When there is a delay of 25%-32% in one area of development the eligibility will be indicated as Not Eligible |
Schedule Evaluator Appointment Updated Calendar | Yes. On EI Referral Case → Schedule Evaluator Appointment button will bring up a calendar view of all available appointments. On the appointment the time, Location and Central Location will display. When an appointment is selected the evaluators disciplines and languages will display. The calendar can be filtered by Evaluation Location and there is a filter for Overflow Evaluations in which only overflow evaluations will display. The calendar will default to a month view and can be changed to week, day or list view. |
Provider Portal
Provider Portal Cases Search Functionality | No. My Client Cases (for direct service providers) tab has search fields for both Client Name and Case #. The Enter key will return search results |

Provider Portal Cases View Medicaid Enrolled | No. My Client Cases (for direct service providers) tab has a new column that indicates if a child is Medicaid enrolled |
Provider Portal Cases Credit Activities | Yes. On the My Client Cases (for direct service providers) tab under the Client ID there is a hyperlink to Credit Activities. Activities must be credited if invoiced in error. After the credit is submitted the provider can bill for the appropriate date/units/rate |
Provider Portal Cases Upload Document | Yes. My Client Cases (for direct service providers) tab has a new column Upload Documents in which progress notes and other documents can be attached to the child’s EI Case |
Provider Portal Billing Time & Rate (Hourly) | No. When entering billing via the Provider Portal the New Activity pop-up fields have been relabeled as “Time(15-min units)” & Rate(Hourly) for clarification. Documents can be uploaded on the New Activity pop-up in addition to the My Client Cases tab |

Provider Portal Login Screen Login Issues Form | Yes. On the Provider Portal login screen there is a hyperlink to the Login Issues Form. This Form is to be used when a user is having difficulty logging into the Provider Portal. Reminder - If your user name or password are entered incorrectly 3 or more times you will be locked out of your account. The Login Issues Form must be used to unlock your account |
Evaluator Discipline Locked | Yes. The Evaluator Discipline field is now locked and cannot be edited by Evaluators. Only Company Owners can select or change Evaluator Discipline(s) |
