Updates to the EI Data System will be taking place

9/21/2025 from 8:00 a.m. until 9/21/2025 at 1:00 p.m.


USERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE OUT OF THE EI DATA SYSTEM

Users can log into the system after 1:00 p.m. on 9/21/2025

Updates to View 

Yes. Medicaid billable appointments will now display in gold color on the calendar.  New display box that shows:

  • Child’s Name

  • Primary Language

  • Medicaid ID 

  • 48 hours from the time of scheduling

Service Provider Assignment (Initial IFSP case) 


Assigning a Provider to an Initial IFSP

Yes. Use the Service Provider Assignment (Initial IFSP Case) on the Client Case to assign a provider to the assessment of the Initial IFSP.  The Start Date will default to Referral Date and the End Date will be set to 90 days later.

Transition Conference 


DocuSign 

Yes. If the Transition Conference occurs outside of an IFSP meeting, the Service Coordinator can send only the Background Information and Transition Conference details via DocuSign and obtain only the signatures relevant to the Transition Conference

Late Reasons


Updated Structure and Options for Late Reasons

Yes.  There is now an initial Late Reason category to select either Family or System Late Reason.  Based on initial selection the Service Coordinator will select the Late Reason Type/Details  from the secondary drop-down menu

NOTE: If a prior late reason is listed for Indicator 8a, 8b and/or 8c and a subsequent IFSP meeting is held the Late Reasons will need to be updated to match the new options in the EI Data System

Medicaid Appointments


View of Appointments 

Yes. Medicaid ID must be entered if the evaluator is able to bill Medicaid. Appointments where both evaluators have a Medicaid ID will display as gold. Medicaid billable information no longer needs to be entered in appointment details 

Service Provider Assignment (Initial IFSP case) 


Provider Portal Billing 

No. Provider Portal Billing for Initial IFSP Development 

If a child is not displaying, please reach out to the Service Coordinator to either create the Service Provider Assignment or extend the End Date
