Article summary

Account Types:

  1. Household – An account representing a Household containing one or more individuals.

  2. CCB – An Account representing a Local EI Broker (formerly referred to as CCB -Community Centered Board) containing affiliated contacts, such as Service Coordinators, and affiliated allocations.

  3. Hospital/Practice – EI account used to store hospital and practice information.

  4. Community – This account is only created by EI Administrative staff or via the Provider Portal for Service Providers

Household Accounts

  1. Click on Accounts located in the Tab ribbon

  2. Select New (the New button is located in the upper right corner under the user profile picture)

  3. The Record Type will be Household Account

  4. Click  Next

  5. Enter the Account Name field

  6. Enter Contact Information: phone number and address

  7. Fields with a RED asterisk (*) are required fields

  8. Click Save

Note: Household accounts are automatically created from an Early Intervention Referral case when the Duplicate Contacts search is completed.

CCB Accounts

  1. New CCB Accounts can only be created by State EI Data System Admin.

  2. The following fields remain editable and should be maintained and updated by local EI Brokers:
    a. EIST Communications Email field on the CCB Account should be used for email communication specific to the EIST. This field is only editable by the CCB Manager Supervisor.

b. CCB Email: A automated notification is sent to email listed in this field when a client case is created from an EI Referral Case and associated with the CCB

c. Primary Email: This is the primary email contact for the CCB. No functionality or automation tied to this field.

d. CCB Request Email: This field is used for automated email notifications when a Company/Provider requests to contract with a CCB and/or when attestation agreements are signed/pending signature.

Hospital Practice Accounts

  1. Click on Accounts located in the Tab ribbon

  2. Select New (the New button is located in the upper right corner under the user profile picture)

  3. The Record Type will be Hospital/Practice

  4. Click  Next

  5. Enter the Account Name field

  6. Enter Contact Details (Phone, Website, Primary Email)

  7. Click Save
